
Just Say Something would like to thank everyone who participated in the IMPACT Youth Summit: "Take It Back!", a bold, two-day experience designed to empower middle school youth to reclaim their voice, confidence, and leadership through creative expression, collaboration, and action. It was held from Tuesday, July 22, 2025 to Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 8:30AM to 3:30PM (both days) at Carolina High School, 2725 Anderson Rd, Greenville, SC 29611.
Speakers included Richard Yeargin, III, MS, a nationally known football player, current Ph.D. scholar, and highly sought-after transformational keynote speaker with a truly inspiring story; Heather Cotugno, a Youth Resilience Coach and special education teacher who focuses on building youth confidence, resilience, and acceptance; Lady Nicole Steele, Executive Pastor at The King’s Worship Center, who loves to inspire youth to discover their purpose and live with confidence; Pastor Kevin Steele, a minister and published author who leads dynamic youth initiatives; Derrick Quarles, political strategist, social justice advocate, and community leader with a long-standing commitment to youth empowerment; and Kelly Simmons III, former Clemson Coach, national and international speaker, leadership trainer, and student success coach. A light breakfast and lunch were served on both days.
Youth who attended were given the opportunity to participate and/or to serve as an intern.
