Youth Impact Sports 2024

Youth Impact Sports (YIS) is a FREE program for children aged 6 to 12. It offers flag football, basketball, soccer, and swimming camps and tournaments. It provides a fun and athletic outlet while promoting character-building skills such as discipline, accountability, bullying prevention, substance prevention, and anger management. Participants receive team uniforms and meals.

YIS league is a collaboration between Just Say Something and the Center for Educational Equity Greenville Boxing Club (CEE).

Program Overview:

• Flag Football
• Basketball
• Soccer

Weekly Activities:

1. Wednesday Nights:

• YIS partners with the Strengthening Families Program (SFP) at Upstate Circle of Friends (29 Ridgeway Drive) from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• Parents learn positive parenting skills while their kids engage in sports and other empowering activities.
• Coach Adriana Giraldo, a trainer from the United Soccer Program, works with youth ages 6-13 who want to play soccer.

2. Thursday Nights:

• YIS continues to hold Flag Football Training at Upstate Circle of Friends from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM.
• Focuses on camaraderie, character-building, and life skills.

Tournament Dates:

Monday-Wednesday, July 29-31, 2024 (Flag FBall)

* Note: Flag FBALL Season runs from July 15-18 & 22-25, 2024.
